I saw the Vintage Revolution Pedal Pro on TGP.
Digitally controlled analog effects processor.
The website says reconfigurable effects chain but it looks like you can only move the filters in 9 different ways with everything else staying in the same order.
Industrial design by Fractal Audio? ![]()
If Dan Coggins, who designed the Lovetone pedals, created something like this, I would buy it.
The cheapest way to market this unit? Send one to Pete Thorn.

Hey Guys, In my opinion this unit is an other level with respect to the pedals. Since you can synchronize the oscillator phase of the modulators, you can assign any knob to the expression pedals , you can choose among a huge list of modulation functions…. the sound you can get is very unique. Check some of the sound sample synth.. vowels …
In other words you get a lot of standard acknowledged sound effects and a lot of new once very much usable

I agree that it may look life Axe-FX but takes you one minute once you plug you guitar in, that we are talking about a very different unit. Listen to the sample Pedal_Wah……. no digital can sound like this !
I agree with RHOY the future is Analog Effect Digitally Controlled.

Digitally controlled analog is pretty cool for modulation effects but I prefer some digital delay and reverb types that don’t exist in analog form.
Max – Are you guys going to do NAMM or any of the amp shows in the US next year? You may want to post on HRI board since those guys are more rack friendly than TGP.

Dan – Thanks for the tip. I will check it out.
The unit can not reproduce some of the digital effects. This is the reason why there are two connection to external loop and a Midi out. So that you can use it to control those external effects.
In my personal opinion there is much more than some digitally controlled modulators.
For example
1) controlling smoothly the tempo in BPM of a chorus can morph the Chorus to Lesly. Amazing sound !
2) The distortion sounds really tubes. I have done some test with professional using tube distortion and the unit distortion. They could not tell the difference.
3) controlling the sensitivity of the Envelope filters. Very expressive
4) You can control the volume in 3 different places of chain loop. Very handy
……………………….. many other unique features.
The unit was designed for Professional Musician that want to go on stage
with 5 minutes sound check !!!! … and have the top sound as well as top expression.
Part of unit design was based on the analog pedal that made a history of the analog world and every musician would like to have in the pedal boards. Like CryBaby (fasel based), Chorus CE-1, ADA flanger, Mutron Phasor….
